A beautiful course, but watch out for the 16th….if you’re prone to hook the ball take an iron off the Tee.

Beckside Golf Course ~ Crook, from Windermere turn right just past the Sun Inn at Crook. There is no Web-site, No booking facility and No Club House…all of which contribute to the character of this course. This could be one of the best kept secrets of the whole county. A fascinating and challenging little 9 holer home grown by its farmer/ owner Mike Jackson, A super little course offering challenging Tee shots and more challenging Greens.
At only £10 per round, it’s worth paying the money just for the views from the 5th Tee…..

This 18 hole course offers a delightful and varied experience for golfers of all abilities. Par 71, measuring 6200 yards off the Championship tees. The inspired use of the natural features of the landscape, tree-lined fairways and well-located greens, combine to provide an unforgettable round of golf.
